Alexandra “Olenka” Swigon is a writer, musician and folklorist. She is the author of many published essays, articles and poetry, and has recorded three CDs of original songs under the name Oakwife. She has a BA in Cultural Studies from SUNY Empire State with a concentration in Slavic Folklife, Material Culture and Economic Anthropology.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
